BURGLARIES IN ROTORUA.
NEW BICYCLE STOLEN. BUTCHER'S SHOP RAIDED. (Prom Our Own Correspondent.) ROTORUA, 'Tuesday. Two further burglaries are reported to have been committed in Rotorua in the week-end. Using an empty brandy bottle,, a thief broke a window at tho rear of Mr. P. Butler's cycle shop in the main street on Saturday night, selected' a new bicycle, valued at £8 10/, and departed with it. The theft is a daring one, as the light fro7n the street falls through the plate glass windows and showe up the interior of the shop. The till was opened, but as it contained only six coppcr.s they' wer-c left behind". At sonic time during tho evening . the butcher's shop of Mr. George Vaughan also was entered, and a ham' was stolen. '
