GREY LYNN'S NEEDS.
CARE OF CONSTITUENCY. MR. FLETCHER'S LOCUM TENENS. The spirit of co-operation which exists between members of Parliament is illustrated in the arrangements made for the supervision of the Grey Lynn electorate during the absence from New Zealand of Mr. J. S. Fletcher, M.P. Mr. Fletcher, accompanied by Mrs. Fletcher, will leave Auckland by the Limited express to-morrow night to connect in Wellington with the Monowai for San Francisco. The . member for Grey Lynn will spend about two months in ' California investigating various questions, including the railway systems and fruit growing business. Mr. W. J. Jordan, Labour -M.P. for Manukau, has offered to attend to any urgent requirements of the constituency while Mr. Fletcher is away, and this friendly proposal has been gratefully accepted. Mr. Fletcher expects to return to New Zealand on February 23.
