Playing tho M.C.C. touring team, Griqualand West in the first innings made 310 runs, Balakas 86, Helfrich 37, McNally 38. Wyatt took two wickets for 24 runs, Goddard two for 43, and Allom two for 39.

Marylebone in tho first innings lias lost nine wickets for 222 runs, Leyland 40, Hammond 53, Voce 56. Balakas took five wickets for 56 runs.
