MR. A. E. JTTLL'S RESIGNATION
SUCCESSOR RECOMMENDED.

At a meeting of the executive of the Counties Association, Mr. William Morr rison, of Maxwell, near Wanganui, was chosen for recommendation to the Mini: ster- of Public Works as successor to Mr. A. E. Jull, M.P., who resigned from the Main Highways Board prior to his nomination as a candidate at the Waipawa by-election. Regret was expressed that Mr. Jull had had to resign. The opinion was expressed that he had done. sound work on the board, and was a valuable connecting link between the board and the.counties.
