WAIHI PROSPECTING. (By Telegraph.— Own Correspondent.) \ WAIHI, Tuesday. J The application by the Waihi Prospecting and Mining Association for assistance inprospecting the area at Owharoa'by means of boring, has been taken up by Mr.- A. M.. Samuel, M.P., who is requesting the Minister of Mines to make a gruntof £IiOO towards the work. The proposition is really nn alluvial one, embracing a large tract' of country, the gold being impregnated throughout the dacite country.
