FOUND ON ROCKS.
ELDERLY MAN'S DEATH. VERDICT AT IXQUEST. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, this day. At the inquest into the death of Mr. James Riley (CO), a married man, whose body was found on the rocks at St. Clair Beach on Sunday morning, the coroner remarked that the deceased apparently slipped and fell on the rough, stony beach, was disabled, and thereupon drowned. A verdict to the effect that the deceased was found drowned was returned.
