CHRISTCHURCH, this day.
A step towards co-operation between the Presbyterian and Methodist churches was taken at this morning's meeting of the Presbytery when the scheme recommended by a Wellington committee was adopted in modified form. Speaking on behalf of the committee which had considered the matter the EeV, J. Lawson Robinson said that it had arisen out of a working arrangement between the churches in Plimmerton, which had been successful.
