RUGBY LEAGUE RECRUIT.
PLAYER FROM NEW ZEALAND. (Received 10 a.m.) LONDON, October 7. B. Walker, ex-Rugby, Union wing three-quarter of Manawatu and Wellington, lias arrived at Southampton. He is to join the Huddersfield Rugby League Club. The Rugby League Cup Committee has decided that the New Zealander, Walker, is not eligible to play for Huddersfield in the county cup ties, because his registration form was not handed to the League secretary within five days of signature.
