PRICES AT FRANKTON. BEEF VALUES LOWER. Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having held their usual weekly stock sale at Frankton saleyards £>n Tuesday, October 7, as under: — There was an average yarding of beef. Prices generally were a shade lower. We sold medium weight bullocks at up to ilia/; light fat steers, £10 17/6 to £11 17/6, prime fat heifers, £9 7/6 to pnine fat cows, to £9; light fat cows, ~4 10/ to £5 e There was a large yarding of store cattle, but owners' values were not reached, and the larger proportion of the yarding was passed at auction.
