LEGS BROKEN IN FALLS.

TWO WOMEN IN HOSPITAL. Mrs. G. Tucker had her right leg broken when she slipped on a grating outside her shop at 401, New North Road, on Saturday night. She was taken to the Auckland Hospital, and her condition to-day was reported to be not serious. As the result of falling down the stairs and tripping over a rail at her home at Parnell, Miss E. Buchanan, a middle-aged woman, had her left thigh broken. She was taketo to the Auckland Hospital, where she is progressing favourably. The condition of Merle Linwood, of 25, Alknby Avenue, Devonport, who had one thigh broken while playing football on Saturday, was reported to be not serious to-day.
