BRITISH AEROPLANE.
China, Europe, South America In Route. PROVING ITS MERIT. (British Official Wireless.) (Received 12 noon.) RUGBY, October 5. The Westland Aircraft Company is sending abroad a Wapiti, general i purpose military aeroplane, to demonstrate its qualities "before Government officials and Air Force officers in the States' of Southern Europe, South America and China. The machine will spend several montli9 in China, beginning at Hongkong and flying right through the country. The European tour will include Greece, Spain, Portugal, Yugoslavia and the Balkan States. The machine will remain for some time in each country. Later it will probably tour the Scandinavian countries and the Baltic States. The demonstrations in South America ' will be associated with the British Empire trade exhibition, to be held there next ApriL Other British firms will send machines to that exhibition, but the 'Westland exhibit will remain there for a tour after the. exhibition closes. !
