In the matter of The Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926, The Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926, and Amendments and Regulations made thereunder respectively. The body corporate of the Mayor, Councillors and Burgesses of the Borough of Mount Eden known as the Mount Eden Borough Council, hereby give notice in terms of the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926, that they propose to engage in the following undertaking and being unable to provide the necessary funds for ,the work out of the ordinary revenue of the Mount Eden Borough Council they propose to raise a Special Loan of £95,000 for the following purpose :: — (a) For the Construction of Permanent Drainage and Sewerage Works within the Borough and for the payment of the Council's proportion of the cost of works beyond the Borough which ' are required to provide an outfall. (b) For the purpose of securing the repayment of the said Special Loan a Special Annual Recurring Rate of Sixpence in the £ will be made and levied on the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough. (c) It is proposed to make such Loan repayable in 36J years and to make provision for the payment of a Sinking Fund of 1 per cent per annum. (d) It is proposed to pay out of the loan moneys the preliminary expenses in connection with the scheme for which the loan is proposed and the cost of raising the loan, but no Interest or i sinking fund.
