AUCKLAND SOCIETY. The society flew a race from Palinerston North oh Saturday. The birds were liberated at 7.30 a.m. in rain, with a westerly wind, and the winning bird homed to its lolt at 3.22 p.m. The race resulted in a popular win for Messrs. Owing to the train being late at Johnsonville on Saturday the birds were held over till Sunday, when they were liberated by the stationmaster at 9 a.m. The winning bird, C.
