Neck; half a length. Time, 2.17 1-5. FORM OF WAH. AN EXPLANATION ACCEPTED. CHRISTCHURCH, Sunday. The judicial committee was called together during the Methven Trotting Club's meeting yesterday to inquire into the improved showing and the extra support accorded Wah in the Riverbank Handicap as compared with his form in the Drayton Handicap. In the first appearance Wah carried about 50 tickets in a pool of over 2400, while next time out he was entrusted with over 600 in practically the same total. His trainer, W. J. Tomkinson, appeared before the committee to explain the matter, and his explanation was accepted.
