GIRL GUIDES.

The Milford troop of Girl Guides gave a successful dance on board the Pirate Shipp© at Milford on Friday night. Excellent music was provided by the Milford Guides' Orchestra, under Mrs. Scales. Members of the ladies' committee present were: Mrs. Christensen, Mrs. F. Scales, Mrs. Kensington, Mrs. Atwood, Mrs. D. M. Davidson, Mrs. A. Goodwin, Mrs. C. Kingsford, Mrs. David, ■Mrs. Young, Mrs. Cadness and Mrs. Jenkins. Other adults present Avere: Mesdames Birch, Edmonds, Hayward and Miss Jukes. Amongst the guides and their friends werfe.
