GIRL GUIDES.
The Milford troop of Girl Guides gave a successful dance on board the Pirate Shipp© at Milford on Friday night. Excellent music was provided by the Milford Guides' Orchestra, under Mrs. Scales. Members of the ladies' committee present were: Mrs. Christensen, Mrs. F. Scales, Mrs. Kensington, Mrs. Atwood, Mrs. D. M. Davidson, Mrs. A. Goodwin, Mrs. C. Kingsford, Mrs. David, ■Mrs. Young, Mrs. Cadness and Mrs. Jenkins. Other adults present Avere: Mesdames Birch, Edmonds, Hayward and Miss Jukes. Amongst the guides and their friends werfe. Misses Christensen (captain), E. Forest (lieutenant), M. Brocas, Sylvia Scales, Margaret Koefoed, Ella Umdrill,. T. Ashwin, L. Williamson, Gwenyth Howe, Ethel Chandler, Dorothy Spriggs, G. Wynyard, E. Corner, Cushla Hamlin, Mary Gillies, Joan Brown, Dorothy Mills, Joy Binstcad, Ena Mills, V. MaeCready, M. Deighton, M. Scheiff, M. Rollo, H. Lee, L. Ogilvie, L. Goddard, T. Goddard, D.
