RECORD CARGO.
PORT WAIKATO AT WHANGAREI. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHANG AREI, this day. \A record cargo for the port was brought by the motor ship Port Waikato, under the command of Captain Wachliu, which berthed at the Whangarei Town wharf yesterday with 400 tons of cargo. In addition to a large consignment of water pipes for the Whangarei Borough Council, from Onakaka, the vessel carvied a quantity of general cargo from Dunedin, Timaru and Lyttelton.
