Mr. C. F. Bennett left for the south last evening. Mr. J. Kermack, of Suva, is in Auckland at Hotel Cargcu. Sir Harold and Lady Beauchamp returned to Wellington last evening. Mr. W. Nops, of Masterton, arrived from Suva by the Tofua yesterday. Judge F. 0. V. Achceon, of the Native Land Court, arrived in Auckland this morning. The Hon. A. S. Malcolm, M.L.C., came as far as Frankton Junction by the Limited express to-day. Mr. E. T. L. Spidy, superintendent of New Zealand Railway workshops, "was a passenger to Auckland by the Limited to-day. Messrs. T. Blondworth and J. B. Paterson, members of the Auckland City Council, went to Wellington by train last evening. Messrs. A. Harris, M.P. for Waitemata, and G. C. Munn*, M.P. for Roskill, returned to Wellington by train last evening. Mr. M. H. Wynyard, chairman of the Auckland Harbour Board, was a passenger to Auckland by the Limited express this morning. Mr. L. Attains, manager in New Zealand for Reo Motors, Ltd., returned to Auckland yesterday by the Golden Cloud after a three months' trip to the States. Mr. and Mrs. J. Harrison, of Christcluirch, who have been visiting the Cook Islands, returned to Auckland yesterday by the Tofua. They are at Hotel Stoneliurst. Mr. J. 13. Lynch, of Greymouth, was a passenger to Auckland yesterday by the Tofua after having been on a trip to the Cook Islands. He is at the Commercial Hotel. Mr. R. Howie, travelling secretary of the New Zealand Student Christian movement, has arrived in Auckland. He is making a visit to the local branches, of the movement. Mr. W. G. Lofley, inspector of health in Western Samoa, arrived in Auckland by the Tofua yesterday. He was accompanied iby Mrs. Lofley and they will spend a holiday in Auckland. The Rev. A. S. Wilson, who has been in charge of the Grange Road Baptist Church for some years, leaves this evening for Christcliurch. He will be succeeded by the Rev. L. C. M. Donaldson, of Sydney.Mrs. A. Ividd, a member of the Auckland Hospital Board, left for the south last evening. She will he present at a conference of the Trained Nurses' Association, to be held this week in Cliristchurch. Mr. J. A. Grimwood, of the Union Steam Ship Co.'s trans-Pacific and Island department, Wellington, came hack to Auckland yesterday by _ the Tofua from the Cook Islands. He is at Hotel Cargcn. The Rev. A. S. Perkins, who has been with the London Missionary Society in Western Samoa for the past two years, arrived in Auckland yesterday on furlough by the Tofua. He was accompanied by Mrs. Perkins.
