| TRIBUTES TO MR. A. SPENCER, j J j OFFICE BEARERS ELECTED. At a meeting of the executive com-! mittee yesterday afternoon, Mr. Albert) Spencer was unanimously re-elected pre- | sident of the Auckland Provincia] | Employers' Association. Members spoke highly of the work done by Mr. Spencer on behalf of the association during the long period he had been president. They said it would be practically a disaster to the association if Mr. Spencer could not see his way clear to retain the; position. The vice-presidents re-elected were Mr. J. S. Dawes and Mr. J. C. Entrican. A financial and advisory committee, consisting of the president, two vicepresidents, together with Mr. James Lowe and Mr. C. W„ Coles, was also elected. A vote of thanks to the staff of the j association and the secretary, Mr. S. E: j Wright, in appreciation of their valuable | work and loyal support, "was unani-j mously carried. The advisory committee promised to; give consideration to a suggestion that I future annual meetings should take i place in the evening. :
