PRESBYTERIAN WORK.

The Eight Rev., George Budd, Dominion Moderator, presided over the annual meeting of the supporters of the Auckland Presbyte/ian and Social Service Association held in St. James' Hall yesterday afternoon. The report, of which an abstract appeared in last evening's "Star," was adopted. The Rev. Thomas Ualliday, secretary, stated that between 200 and 300 ladies had helped at the Manna House providing meals for the unemployed. They had visions of having an old men's home in the city, and also of carrying on far more vigorous work amongst the poor, provided funds were forthcoming, which depended upon tho generosity of the supporters of the association. >-
