MATCHES AT MIDDLEMOEE.

A return match between teams from Hamilton and Auckland Golf Clubs was' played to-day under excellent conditions at Middlemore. . In the singles in the morning Auckland, which fielded a strong team, had a marked superiority, winning ten games to two. Results were as foflows, Hamilton names being mentioned first:—

Rainier, 6 and 5Dr Blundell beat P. Weston, 3 and 2; P. Russell lost to C. Jacobsen, G and 5.
