ACCIDENT IN LIFT.

MAN'S LEG BROKEN. As the result of his leg being cauaftt between the lift and the floor, while'he was at work yesterday afternoon. George Shaw, aged 57, employed as a liftman by Messrs. G. McMillan and Co., Customs Street East, had the leg fractured. He was taken to the Auckland Hospital by the St. John Ambulance, and is progressing favourably. Mr. Shaw is a married*man, resident in PanamaStreet, Grey Lynn.
