CAR STRIKES POST.

THREE PEOPLE INJURED. ACCIDENT AT EPSOM. ; ' .. K Three people were injured when their motor car, swerving suddenly as the result of a burst tyre, crashed into a telegraph pole near Merivale Avenue, Epsom, about 11 o'clock last evening. None of the injuries was serious. The driver of the car, Mr. Schubert Fallwell, single, aged 29, of Great South Road, Otahuhu, suffered slight injuries to the chest and leg. The other two occupants, Miss Margaret McFarlane, aged 25, and Miss Mavis McFarlane, aged 24, of 24, Clevedon Road, Otahuhu, received slight injuries. The injured: persons were taken to the hospital by ambulance, and are reported to be progressing favourably. The front portion of' the car was extensively damaged.
