DATES APPLIED FOR. DUNEDIN, Thursday. The Dunedin Jockey Club lias decided to apply for March 12 and 14 as dates for the benefit meeting in ail of the St. John Ambulance Association. ItEHANIUCAF. SILVEEMEJE AT AVONDALE. Following his win at Wanganui yesterday Silvermine has been raised 31b for the Henderson Hmdicap at Avondale by Mr. F. J. McManemin, and his weight is now 9.5. AVONDALE ACCEPTANCES. Acceptances for the opening day's programme of the Avondale Jockey Club's meeting, to be held to-morrow week, doge to-day at 5 p.m. The list will be published in an edition of the "Star" on sale a few minutes later.
