OPERATIC SOCIETY.
Tlio Auckland Amateur Operatic Society held another of its successful socials last evening. Mr. L. P. Leary, author and producer of the forthcoming production, "Tutankhamen," gave a short speech as an introduction to the opening of a membership campaign for subscribing members. Those who contributed to the programme were Misses V.'Peacock, Dot Taylor and Bruce Hutton in songs and Miss Freda Crosher in humorous sketches. Amongst those present were: Mrs. C. G.
