As a mark of its appreciation of the skill of Canadian airmen, the Hudson's Bay Company in Vancouver has announced that it will erect 011 its large departmental store building an elcctric beacon, which will be the largest in the British Empire. The beacon, hundreds of feet in the air, will be trained on the Vancouver civic airport each night for the guidance of incoming flyers.
