SEVEN TEAMS ENTERED

The Auckland Rugby League's new Wednesday competition will commence this week, and the draw is as follows:— Chess Taxis v. Royal Billiard Saloon, Carlaw Park No. 2, 2.30 p.m.; Trotting Trainers v. Private Taxis, 4 p.m.; New Zealand Fertilisers v. Stonex Brothers, Limited, Victoria Park, 4 p.m.; Barmen, a bye. The Ponsonby and Devonport primary school teams will play the curtain-raiser at 1.30 p.m. on No. 2 ground, Carlaw Park.
