SEIZURE OF NEWSPAPERS.
AN ASSURANCE WANTED.

WELLINGTON, Friday.
An assurance that the suppression of newspapers opposed to coercion in Samoa is not to be made a feature of the Government's policy is sought in a question given notice of in the House by Mr. H. E. Holland, Leader of the Labour party.
Mr. Holland is inquiring also whether the Postmaster-General is aware that the issues of the "New Zealand Samoa Guardian" of August- 7 and August 14 respectively have : been confiscated by the Postal Department, and-, if so, will he inform the House why this action was taken. !
