FAREWELL LETTER.
READER'S REGRETS
IST, Green Lane West, Auckland, August 11, 1930. Dear Peter Pan, —The time lias come for me to send you my most reluctant farewell as a member of the Peter Pan Club. During my membership I liave experienced many happy and interesting moments, and 1 have also experienced not a few disappointments. But nevertheless I found consolation in the thought that I have tried and'always done°my best in everything I liavo ever undertaken. Although my contractions have been somewhat inconsistent, 1 ieel that I have done my hit towards our paper, and I sincerely hope that rn the near future I shall see it become more popular than ever. And as a paitmg thought to you, and perhaps my fellowmembers too, I Avould like to say just this —that wherever I go and whatever I do I shall always remember.to Be Loyal."—Yours sincerely, BESSIE E. SPOONER. We are sorry to lose you, Bessie, but not all are able to remain young like PETER PAN".
