WRESTLING.
TQ-MORBOW WIGHT'S MATCH.
ALLEY TO MEET LOGAN,
The second match to be by the newly-formed Auckland cx-benice-men's Wrestling Union will take place in His Majesty's Theatre to-morrow evening, when Tom Alley will meet Walter Logan. It will be Logan's first appearance m New Zealand, and followers of the spoit are looking forward to an excellent match. Logan is only 24, 'but he has already had 200 matches, and has won more than half of that number. He lias been off the steamer long enough to get into his best shape, and lie is quietly confident of his ability to 'beat his fellow American. The pair have never met previously, and it is difficult to say which way the match is likely to go. If Logan was good enough to beat John Kilonis in Texas a few months back he should prove a big handful for Alley to manage to-morrow. Alley needs no introduction, for he has had a big number of matches in Auckland. The Mormon arrived from the South yesterday, and reports himself to be in excellent condition. The amateur bouts have been arranged as follows:—W. Williamson v. 11. Brewer, J. McCormish v. T. White, E. Nichols v. G. Cammer, S. Bacon v. J. Beasley, N. Naylor v. H. Hyatt.
