TE PUKE CLUB. The following will represent the Te Puke Golf Club in a match against The Mokorua (Whabatane) Club during the week-end:— Gentlemen. —Messrs. Hoobey, Taylor, Simpson, Westlabe. Veitch. Duff. H. Mollgaard, Holden. T. Rogers, Johnson. Ladies. —Mrs. Powell. Miss Mollgaard, Miss Perring, Mrs. Perring. Mrs. Webber, Mrs. Butcher. Mrs. Fox, Miss A. Wilson, Miss Rogers, Mrs. Simpson. Following are results of matches in the first round of the championship:—Veitch beat Douglas at the nineteenth ; Ralfe beat Holden, 2 up: Simpson beat Taylor. 1 up; Hookey beat T. Rogers, 3 and 1. AKARANA CLUB. On Saturday, August 23. the, Akarana Golf Club will hold the third round of the RoskiU Cup. Players will choose their own partners.
