WAIKATO MATCH POSTPONED

FIXTURES FOR-SATURDAY..

The -weekly' meeting of the management committee of the Auckland Rugby Union was held last night. The chairman, Mr. H. Frost, presided.

Advice was received that Pickering, of College Rifles, had played for his club asainst Manukau in the Pollard Cup match last Saturday, when lie', had been selected as a reserve fqr tlie Auckland representative side. The College Rifles Club will be notified of the infnn°ement of the rules, and will be asked if there was any reason why the club should not lose the game on a protest. Members stood in silence for a brief 6pace as a mark of res pest for Mr. P. JlcElwain, a great Rugby stalwart, whose death has recently occurred.
