POLICE CLUB SOCIAL.
A successful and interesting evening took place last night, -when the Auck- t land Police Social Club held the fourth „ of their winter dances. The arrange: t ments were managed by a very capable committee, of which Mr; J. T. Smith was- j the energetic secretary. The Masonic j Hall was the gayest scene when the 3 dance opened with multi-coloured x streamers and ' many-tinted balloons. ( During the'evening songs were siimg: by \ Mrs. Bowman and Miss Taylor. The c music was supplied ,by a -well-known J orchestra. The floor was in excellent j condition, and everyone spent an enjoy- J able evening. Among those present j were-Mesdanies W. A.
