WELLINGTON, Monday; Revenue totalling £447,000 is expected to result from the operation of the proposals of. •the Finance Bill, which was considered by Parliament to-day. . According;to the Prime Minister, the Hon. G. W.' Forbes, that amount is estimated to be made up as follows:—Stamp duties, £41,000; bank-note duties, £o0,000; totalisatof duties, £100,000; death and gift duties/ £45,000; amusement tax, £70,000;' film hire tax, £50,000; sharebrokers' tax;, £1000; land assurance fund, £60,000; interest on reparations; £30,000; • total,- £447,000.
