BISHOP. —At Victoria Road, Devonport, Fanny Francis, relict of the late F. F. j Bishop, formerly of Wailii, and dearly beloved mother of Mrs. W. Vorran, Payswater, Miss Bisliop, Devonport, and Mrs. Clarke, Kemuera; aged SS. Her end ■was peace. Private interment.

DAVIS.—On August in, at his late residence, 5. Bedford Street, Parnell, Samuel Henry, dearly beloved husband of Edilh Davis; aged 72 years. The funeral will leave the above address at' ;? p.m'. tomorrow (Wednesday), for Waikumete Cemetery. Friends please accept this intimation.

McELWAIN.—On August IS (suddenly), at the Auckland Hospital, Percy McElwain, dearly beloved husband of Mary Ami McElwain, and father of Walter McElwain ; aged <j8 years.

MUDFORD.—On August IS, George Nathaniel, dearly beloved husband of Elizabeth Mary Mudford, and loving father of William, Herbert, Muybelle, Ena and Roy; aged 70. Funeral will leave residence of his daughter and son-in-law, 25, Kingway Avenue, Sandringham. I'rivate interment, Wednesday. '

PROCTER.—On August 18, 1930, at Auckland, Thomas Rookwood, dearly beloved husband of Charlotte Miriam Procter, 22, Burwood Crescent, Remuera, only surviving son of the late John R.
