DIVORCE PETITIONS.

.At the Supreme Court this morning Mr. Justice Herdman gi-anted a decree nisi in the case of Arthur R. G. 0. hard v. Evelyn Lucy Shepherd. The ground of the petition was failure to comply with an order for the restitution of .conjugal rights. Mr. Singer appeared for the petitioner.

Ruth Florence Grainger obtained a decree nisi against • Thomas H. F. Grainger, the grounds, being separation. The parties were married at Dannevirke in 1910 and lived in the Waikato and at Riverhead, Whitford and ■ Auckland. There were seven children and the wife was given the custody of the three youngest. Mr. McLiver appeared for the petitioner. Mr. Sullivan, who appeared for the husband, said he withdrew a cross petition, which alleged misconduct. Mr. Dickson appeared for the person named as co-respondent. • ; .'
