ANOTHER RELIEF SHIP.
ANTINOUS DUE AT 10 P.M
MESSAGE TO THE TAHITI
11.M.5. Philomel reports having picked up the following radio messages: — 10.8 p.m. —"Steamer Antinous still proceeding your position. Arrive 10 p.m. to-morrow or earlier. Will render assistance to your crew if necessary. In any oaso will continue to proceed in your direction until everything is O.K. Antinous is hound for Newcastle." 10.10 (from the Tahiti).—"Thanks for message. Passengers and crew still on board. Position here still the same. Steamer Penybryn in vicinity to-day." Thero arc two steamers named Antinous in the Pacific at the present time. A French steamer of that name, 7133 tons, is en route from Dunkirk to Noumea. She passed through the Panama Canal on August 1. The British steamer Antinous, of 45(53 tons, was to leave Papeete about the end of July for Makatea Island to load phosphate for Australian ports.
