ROTORTJA CLUB. KOTORTJA, Saturday. The results of the bogey match playt-'l by the ladies of the Botorua Golf Clu'i are as follow: —A grade: Mrs. Dingle, S down. B grade: First division, Miss Lewis, 1 down; Mrs. R. C. Smith, 4 down; Miss Carnachan, 4 down; Mrs. Butler, 5 down. Second division: Miss Giesen, 1 up; Mrs. Mac Knight, 4 down; Mrs. Wackrow, 6 down. C grade: Miss D. Griffiths, 1 down; Mrs. Kelly, 2 down; Miss K. Gordon, 3 down.
The qualifying rounds for the tournament resulted as follow: —S. E. Carr, handicap 2, gross score 147; H. Troutbeck, 4"; 149; C. Bryton, 5, 162; C. Redhead, 12, 164; K. C. Smith, 8, 105; H. Parata, 9, 166; C. E. Kusabs, 5, 167; W. Foggin, 9, 169; T. Kelly, 9, 169; Brett, 8, 171; N. Smith, 10, 172; F. Wilkie, 12, 174; C. Worthington, 12, 174; Dr. Hay, 9, 174; A.'Walden, 10, 176; C. E. Hetherington, 12, 17.7; Dr. Wallig, 12, 177. The winner of the prize for lowest gross score was S. E. Carr; president's medal from handicap, C. Bedhead.
For the B championship the following players qualified :—Dr. Mac Knight, E. Howe, Petere, S. li. Patterson, W. H. Speer, 0. Simmonds, A. French, Asihton, M. Hampson, E. Hill. Blencowc, .T. A. .Speer, C. Gee, Kirk, Wydemere. The cup was won by R. C. Smith, who beat M. D. Carr, 3 and 2.
I Entries for the open tournament are now I full, and for the veterans' tournament the following week are tiling.
