AKARANA YACHT CLUB.
On Saturday evening at the Akaraha Yacht Club there was a'-large attendance of dancers. The committee ladies were: Mrs. Webster, cream georgette; Miss Ratcliffe, flame satin; Miss Vereoe, apple green crepe de chine; Miss Hanlon, pink taffeta. Amongst members and friends were: Miss D. Kelsall, maize net over satin; Miss J. McLeod (Whitianga), lacquer red velvet; Miss Vallely, apple green taffeta; Miss Plowman, champagne lace and satin; Miss B. Anderson, flame velvet; Miss J. Coleman, black crepe de chine, lace; Miss G. McMillan, peach satin; Miss J. Black,'ivory crepe satin; Miss L. Gussey, black and red satin; Miss I. McMillan, midnight blue satin; Miss B. Christie, shell pink taffeta; Miss G. Sharp, floral crepe de chine; Miss M. Clayton, apricot crepe de chine; Miss Smith, eau de nil chenille georgette; Miss D. O'Brien, midnight blue and silver; Mrs. Crompton, black lace; Miss Craig, mauve lame; Miss P. Bell, apricot satin and silver lace;- Miss M. Jensen, royal blue satin; Miss N. Cordts, jade green chenille georgette; Miss J. Thomas, black ring velvet and satin; Miss P. Drew, ivory lace; Miss E. Rogers, gold tinsel and rose taffeta; Miss G. Howell, black satin; Miss A. Willetts, lemon georgette; Miss J. White, green shot taffeta. .
