ELECTRIC KILLER.
DEVICE FOR WHALING SHIPS
OSLO, August 8.
The first whaling ship to be fitted with electric whale killing apparatus will sail for the Antarctic on August 12. Professor Weber, representing the patentees, will accompany the expedi-
tion. Professor Weber says experiments have shown that the whales will be killed instantly. Only a weak current is required.
