HAIRDRESSER'S STOCK TAKEN

MANUREWA, this day.

Thieves broke into Mr. G. Hodge's billiard saloon and hairdressing premises in Station Road last evening and removed stock valued at £1 and 7/ in cash. Entry was gained through a window into the billiard room and thence bv climbing through the manhole in the ceiling and dropping into the hairdresser's room. The front door was found wide open this morning.
