A prisoner, Timothy Edward Cosgrove, escaped from the Paparua prison tliis evening. ,' ' The 'discovery"-was made about six o'clock when the roll was called: He has not yet "been recaptured. Cosgrove had been working by himself in ths'-stables attached to the prison. ■He was l a parole prisoner, and not under close supervision: .He is 47 years of age and 6ft Sin in-height. . was sentenced to three years' imprisonment -in- May .for- theft.
