MANSFIELD—STEVENSON.
Miss Rose Stevenson, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. Stevenson, of Taumarunui, was married at the Presbyterian Church, Taumarunui, on Wednesday, to Mr. George Markham Mansfield, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Mansfield, Rotorua. The Rev. Mr. C. Brierly officiated. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a charming frock of ivory georgette, with an uneven hemline, ankle length, and a posy of orange blossom at the waist. She also wore a fall of silver ribbon and a coronet of' orange biossom. Her silk tulle veil was embroidered with silver Honiton. The bridesmaids were Miss W. Stevenson and Miss E. Autridge. The train-bearer was Miss Brehda Naylor. Mr. J. McKenzie, Auckland, was best man and Mr. C. A. Stevenson groomsman. At the reception Mrs. Mansfield wore a smart fawn costume and Mrs. Stevenson an ensemble of grey georgette and wool marocain.
TILLACK—WELCH.
The redding of Eva Mildred, daughter of Mrs. F. M. and the late Mr. F. J. Welch, of Huntingtree Avenue, Sandringham, and Ernest Godfrey Tillack, son of Mr. W. Tillack, and the late Mrs. Tillack, of Melbourne, took place at the Dominion Road Methodist Church on Saturday evening. The Rev. Wm. Rowc officiated. Mr. Evans played the wedding music. The bride, who entered the church with her brother-in-law, Mr. D. Lydiard, wore a bridal frock of ivory corded taffeta with a deep uneven hem of silk tulle. A spray of orange blossom fell from the left shoulder to the waistline. The embroidered veil, which fell in graceful folds to form the train, was held in place by silver lace with clusters of orange blossom over each car. She carried a beautiful shower bouquet Of white rosebuds and anemones. Tflirec maids were iu attendance, Misses Kathleen Dilworth, Queenie Simpson and Doris Nelson (niece of the bride). They wore frocks fashioned alike with berthe collars and uneven hemlines, of moonlight blue, eau de nil, and coral silk georgette over satin respectively. Their hats were of silk lace straw to tone with their frocks, and they carried shower •bouquets, one of blue iris and sweetpeas, another of yellow daffodils and the third of small pink rosebuds. After the ceremony a reception was held at the Domain Kiosk, where Mrs. Welch received in a beige ensemble with blue and beige felt hat. She carried a bouquet of violets and daphne. Mr. Leslie Bridgens attended the bridegroom as best man.
