MOTORIST KILLED.

KING COUNTRY SETTLER. COW ON NARROW ROADWAY. - DRIVER'S WIFE UNINJURED. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) OTOROHANGA, this day. Whilst motoring this morning along the Tahaia Road, about eight miles from Otorohanga, a well-known settler of the King Country, George Gadsby, aged about 50,' was killed as the result of hie car leaving the road at a sharp corner. It is understood that when coming round the bend the driver found a cow standing in the middle of a narrow road, and that while he was endeavouring to avoid it the car left the road and turned completely over. Deceased was acconipaniel by his wife,, who escaped injury. He was a son of Mr. William Gadsby, of Te Kuiti, the well-known Jersey breeder and judge.
