Three British Competitors
Still Ahead.

RUGBY, July 25.
Three British pilots, Mr. Alan Butler, Captain Broad and Mr. Thorn, who were the first arrivals at Lyons yesterday afternoon in the circuit-of-Europe air race, were closely followed by two German aeroplanes piloted by Herren Boss and Moetzig.
Early this morning the three' British pilots left for Berne and afterwards, continued the journey towards Munich, where they arrived later in the following order, Broad, Butler, Thorn, followed by Moetzig.
The Britisli 'planes reached Vienna this afternoon from Munich several hours ahead of tho others. Captain Broad in his Gipsy Moth arrived first, Mr. Alan Butler, also in a Gipsy Moth, a few minutes after, and Mr. Thorn, in .a Gipsy Avon, half an hour afterwards.
The weather conditions, including heavy rain, liavo made the contcst extremely difficult.
