EVANGELIST'S CAMPAIGN.

The Rev. Raymond Preston, a preacher well known in England and Australia, opened a special evangelistic campaign in the Pitt Street Methodist Church last evening. At this gathering he. delivered an address on "The Wonderful Welsh Revival."

His Worship the Mayor and councillors of Auckland will officially attend the service on Sunday morning. The Young Men's B.C. Union will hold a . special parade. At 3 o'clock Rev. Preston will deliver a talk to sports on "The Great Athletes of the World." At the evening service the subject will be "Full Strength."

The campaign will continue daily at 2.30 p.m. and 7.30 p.m., except on Mondays, when no meeting will be held in the afternoons.
