ARROWZONE SOLD.
PALETA BREAKS DOWN. ■.MATRONS FOB WESTMERE. SIMPER AND RAZZLE DAZZLE. (By Telegraph.—Special to "Star.") WELLINGTON", this day. The Bisogne—Haligan gelding Arrowzone was sold by Mr. C. R. Stanfield during the course of the Wellington winter meeting, and has been taken over by H. Benge, of Upper Hutt. Arrowzone will be given a spell before being asked to carry his new colours. Mr. W. T. Hazlett has booked his two brood mares, Simper.and her daughter Razzle Dazzle, to. the Westmere sire Chief Ruler. Two other daughters of Simper, Gold Light and Illume, have been booked to Captain Bunsby.. Paleta was l>r ought to Trentham for the two concluding days of the winter meeting last week. He started on the second day, and was never sighted after the first two furlongs, after beginning with the leaders. It transpires 'that' Paleta broke down. Beamnont is at the end of his racing career,, and when finally retired he will be made A present of as a hack to his old trainer, F. J: Carmont. Carmont had Beaumont from the time he was a yearling right up to last year, when he Avas overtaken by his serious illness and had to leave his horses in other hands. Mr. C. Boyle has received cable advice iVom Melbourne that Conjuror landed there in excellent condition.
