Mr. F. Dargaville, of- Dargaville, arrived from Wellington by the Limited this morning.
Mr. S. C. B. Macky has been appointed a member of the Auckland Land Board for a further term of two years.
Mr. G. C. Godfrey, secretary of the Marine Department, Wellington, is staying at the Grand Hotel.
Messrs. H. P. Miiller and Beaumont Smith, New Zealand .directors for J. C. Williamson, Limited, are staying at the Grand Hotel.
Mr. John Fuller, director of Fullers Ltd., arrived in Auckland by the Limited this morning and is staying at the Grand Hotel.
Mr. C. W. Fade, chairman of dir6ctors of the Wellington Publishing Co., arrived in Auckland by the Limited thie morning.
Mr. V.' G. Wood, New Zealand manager for Canadian National Railways, returns to Auckland by the Niagara this afternoon.
Mr. A. G. Ross, who lias been district inspector for the South British Insurance Co:, at Hamilton for 11 years has been appointed manager of the company's New Plymouth branch.
Mr. A. J, C. Hall, representative for North island teachers on the Teachers' Grading Board, left last evening to attend sittings of the board in New Plymouth, Wanganui and Wellington.
Mr. C. M. Croft, Canadian Trade Commissioner, arrives at Auckland by the Niagara this afternoon from Suva", where lie has been consulting the Fijian Government on the question of Canadian tariffs.
