POLICE COURT REMANDS.
A farm hand, Whana Whana Teriaki, aged 34, appeared at the Police Court this'morning charged with the theft of a horse, saddle and" bridle, of a total value of £4, belonging to James Nicholson, at Morrinsville last St. Patrick's Day. On the application of the police accused was remanded to July 18. George Harvey Cornislr (21), a billiard marker, who was arrested last night on a charge of stealing a bottle of whisky worth 14/6, belonging to Allan Hugh McCarthy, was remanded until to-mor-row morning.
