The British Board'of Trade returns for the month of June show that by comparison with June, 1929, imports decreased by £8 056,000, exports by £7,048,000, and reexports by £1,737,000. After making due allowance for lower pricey it is quite evident that turnover has been very poor indeed during the half-year that has just concluded.
