McCONACHY V. O'DONOGHTJE.

The billiards match between McConachy and O'Donoghue -was advanced a further stage yesterday. There was a good attendance at each session, including many ladies. MeConaehy is steadily improving. In 12 visits to the table at last evening's session, extending over a period of two hours, he scored 1448, averaging 120 per cue. As an inducement to billiards enthusiasts to try their skill on the special match table, a cue is competed for at games of snooker after each session. ° At the finish of play last evening the scores were: —MeConaehy, 17.257: O'Donoshue (40.000 start), 44,253. The best breaks were:— MeConaehy, 191, 393, 143, 143, 200, 127, 131, 129, 288, 136, 172, 206, 161, 415, 60S, 255; O'Donoghue, S3, 54, 111, 75, 58, 105, 65, 50, 53.
